Sardinia, a Land,
a People, a Nature
With 1869 km of coastline and numerous islands, Sardinia is a sailor's delight.
In brief
Sardinia offers you no less than five marine protected areas, almost 80,000 hectares of coastal and marine territory, and seabeds colored by meadows of marine vegetation.
The south of Sardinia between Capo Carbonara and Teulada is full of coves with natural pools where diving enthusiasts will delight. Take advantage of the hidden coves surrounded by Mediterranean scrub and dive into the crystal-clear waters.
To the south-west is the Costa Verde, with sand dunes and deserts stretching up to 1 km inland. You'll feel like you're at the end of the world in this region of family hospitality, where there are no developed beaches or tourist resorts in this former mining region where the mistral wind blows.
The Maddalena archipelago in the north-east of the island, off the Côte Smeralda, is made up of 7 islands. Here, landscapes give way to granite rocks and heavenly beaches, not forgetting the maquis that adds a touch of green to this colorful tableau.
For food lovers, the fish dishes will delight you with shellfish, sea bass, sea bream or grilled eel.
